Despite what the thermometer said this morning (38 degrees) the calendar says Spring! As I came down my staircase, and rounded the corner for the last few steps, my eyes were drawn to something outside.

How cheery is that! They aren't all in bloom yet, but this small showing proves that it's just a matter of time before the temps catch up to the calendar!

Daffodils. Much better flowers than tulips in my humble opinion. While my tulips sometimes come back in glory, they sometimes don't. But my daffs! They just keep blooming year after year. And with such joy!

Your doing way better up in Jersey then we are doing down South....we don't even have as much as a bud on a tree limb....today it was rainy and in the 40's again....if we wanted this weather we would have stayed in Jersey!!
