sunrise

Did anyone notice the sunrise this morning? I had to go out very early this morning, so I grabbed my camera "just in case." When I saw the sun start to peek through the clouds I knew that I had to take a detour and stop at the beach for a look. This is a public beach that has a fenced path to follow so that the dunes are protected. This is what I saw when I first got there.
I kept walking as it was very mild and not at all windy.

This is looking north.

And south, of course.

I shot a video of the waves during which you could see some of the sun's rays peek out from behind the clouds, and then hide again, but I haven't been able to add it this morning for some reason. Maybe later? I took one last picture before heading back to my car.


In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.
